LFS offer one-off or regular service contracts for your doors, making sure you have ongoing regulation compliance and, therefore, peace of mind. We also have our own qualified Fire Door Inspector under the FDIS (Fire Door Inspection Scheme) who is just 1 of 5 qualified inspectors in the London area. Therefore we welcome enquiries from businesses or individuals concerned with optimising the safety of their fire doors.

As a certified door manufacturer we independently assess and have approval to use numerous Global Assessments from door blank distributors. We can repair and upgrade your door, saving you the expense of renewal and ensuring you meet your corporate and social responsibilities by re-using rather than replacing your door (subject to survey).

Once your doors are compliant we can issue certification under both our BM Trada Q-Mark scheme and our FIRAS accreditation. This will save you money but also ensure your fire doors meet fire safety standards quickly, without the need to manufacture new doors.

Our Fire Door Maintenance Service will supply you with a fully detailed report on each door set within your building or estate and, where necessary, a full break down of works needed to ensure full compliance.

If you are a landlord, managing agent or are responsible for social housing groups find out how we can provide annual door maintenance and preventative maintenance programmes that will prolong the life of your fire doors and protect life.

The LFS mobile workshops have been built to our own specification and with our client’s certified fire door maintenance needs in mind. These purpose built workshops are totally bespoke and are especially suited to organisations where a multitude of doors need to be worked on or in a security conscious environment where working on site is preferable to removing the doors to another site.
As these unique vehicles are self-powered and have all the essential tools and benches the operators are able to fulfil all the necessary repairs and upgrading works without taking fire doors off site. They also include cooking, drinking and hand washing facilities and have built-in flood lights and extendable canopies so short winter days and bad weather conditions are not prohibitive.
The advantage to our clients is that as well as being able to complete the work on site they themselves don’t need to provide much in the way of site welfare. The team can simply pull up and start work.

The fire stopping performance of a fire door is dependent on its upkeep, which is why it is vital that your fire doors are checked and maintained regularly.
We can undertake full onsite inspections of existing doors and screens to check compliance with current legislation. We interpret Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) and provide recommendations of repair work necessary to achieve optimum compliance.
As a BM-Trada certified company we will ensure your doors are 100% compliant with fire safety regulations and completely effective. We will also provide advice on the suitability of upgrading existing doors.
However if you have already been instructed by a recent FRA that your doors need replacing we will come to your property and measure the doors, screen or glass that you need to replace free of charge. This is an inclusive part of the service when ordering doors from London Fire Solutions.
